ESTIMATING PROCESSING TIMES:
We will do our best to process and ship your order promptly.
PLEASE ADVISE OF ANY SPECIFIC DEADLINES YOU MAY HAVE. WE STRONGLY ADVISE CALLING FIRST BEFORE PLACING RUSH ORDERS ON LINE.
Orders generally ship within 1-2 business days of receipt of your order. This means that on line orders placed on Friday, for example, may not ship until Monday or Tuesday and so forth. Please calculate our necessary processing and packing times into your time sensitive calculations.
Please note some exceptions:
-if an item is not in stock, customer will be advised of the delay. Balance of the order may ship with out of stock item backordered.
-specialty items and large orders may require additional time to acquire, prepare and process.



ESTIMATING SHIPPING TIMES;
Please allow enough time for processing and packing(see above) PLUS the estimated transit times listed below. Orders ship from our business location far northern California


-PRIORITY MAIL: relatively inexpensive and quick for small packages. Transit time is usually 2-3 days anywhere within the US. Delivery Confirmation service and tracking are included in the handling fee.(see below for rates)


-UPS GROUND: can vary from 1-3 days (west coast) to 8-9 days cross country. Tracking is available. Best for larger size boxes.(see below for rates)


-UPS 1Day, 2Day, 3Day: excellent service for a somewhat higher price. Guaranteed delivery and tracking available.(see below for rates)


PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT RUSH ORDERS (i.e., orders to be shipped that same day with UPS 1 day, UPS 2 day or Postal Express delivery) REQUIRE PHONE NOTIFICATION TO US BY OR BEFORE 11:00 AM PACIFIC TIME. At that time we will advise whether your rush order can be filled. SIMPLY PLACING A RUSH ORDER THROUGH THE INTERNET SITE WITHOUT NOTIFYING US BY PHONE WILL LIKELY MEAN THAT ORDER WILL SHIP THE NEXT DAY, THE SAME AS A STANDARD ORDER.

ESTIMATING SHIPPING COSTS:
The great majority of our packages ship at one or two pounds. Some are 3 but it is rare for a package to weight more than 3 pounds. With that in mind, please see the information below to estimate your shipping costs.


Most of our shipments are sent via PRIORITY MAIL. This is a relatively inexpensive and quick shipping method. For your protection and ours, delivery confirmation and tracking is automatically included with Priority Mail shipping. Shipping & handling costs are:
$6.00 for up to one pound shipping weight
$8.00 for 1-2 pounds
$10.00 for 2-3 pounds
$13.00 for 3-4 pounds
(most orders will ship for under four pounds).
NOTE: these prices reflect Postal increase effective May 14, 2007.




UPS GROUND estimates:
0-1 pound - about $8.00 depending on zone.
1-2 pounds - about $1.00 more than above
2-3 pounds - about $2.00 more than above.


UPS Overnight - $45.00 flat fee for up to three pounds


UPS 2Day - $27.50.00 flat fee for up to three pounds.


UPS 3Day - $18.00 flat fee for up to 3 pounds
