Ostrich feather trim and ostrich feather fringe are currently listed in several colors. Marabou boas are listed in 18 gram and 25 gram weights for marabou trim applications. Chandelle and ostrich feather boas in trim weights are listed have many uses in millinery and costume applications. Peacock herl fringe, hackle fringe and assorted plumage fringes are not yet catalogued.

Marabou trim boas are 2 yards (6 feet) long. Also know as marabou yardage. Marabou is a soft, white, fluffy down feather from the domestic turkey. It takes a dye very well and the colors are brilliant. The boas are tightly wrapped on cording and come in thin (15 gram) and thick (25 gram) weights. Ostrich Feather FringeOstrich trim is constructed from the long fibers of ostrich feathers. It is available in most of the same colors as ostrich plumes. We have several colors and styles on hand. The lightweight style is 2 yards (6 feet) long and about 4 inches in diameter. They have many applications for costume, dress and millinery design. Rooster Saddle and SchlappenStrung rooster hackle feathers have many decorative trim applications in costume, dress, furniture, and decor design where a densely feathered effect is desired. They are available in various natural and dyed colors. Schlappen is a type of rooster hackle feather located at the base of the tail. The feathers are soft and flexible but wider and denser than saddle. The stem is thinner than coque. Strung rooster saddle hackle feathers are thin stemmed and very flexible with lots of movement. Generous amounts of fluff at the base. Strung rooster schlappen and saddle feathers are available in either 4-6" or 6-8 inches in length with over 200 feathers per strung foot.
